Hi, I’m Karin, and I'm so glad you're here!
I write about slow living, gentle productivity, and building a life that feels good — for those who are sensitive, neurodivergent, or simply tired of rushing all the time.
After years of masking and people-pleasing, I'm learning how to build a softer, more sustainable life by tuning into my own wants and needs. I believe in doing less, and that productivity should serve your life, not the other way around. I live in Zurich with my cat, my boyfriend, and a desire for calm, peace of mind, and soft mornings.
This space is an anti-statement to hustle culture and blind consumerism. It’s for people who want to work, create, and support others without abandoning themselves.
Let’s unlearn toxic productivity together and rediscover the joy of slowing down. “The man who has lived the most is not he who has counted the most years but he who has most felt life.” — Jean-Jacques Rousseau
On this page, I share reflections on slowing down, choosing rest without guilt, and doing things at your own pace. I write about burnout, masking, and sensory overwhelm focussing on the peculiarities of being neurodivergent, but also just a human.
You’ll also find thoughts on running a creative life or business with softness instead of stress, and quiet encouragement for living gently — without pressure, performance, or 5am routines.
If any of that resonates, I hope you’ll stick around. I publish about once a week. I’m building a small collection of gentle tools and digital resources for people like us — you’ll see those mentioned now and then.
Thanks so much for being here, I hope you enjoy the (slow) ride!
